Qualifications:
* Technical degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 7 years experience performing Project Control functions; or
* Any other bachelor’s degree with 10 years experience performing Project Control functions.
* Knowledge and experience in applying project management theories, principles, and techniques, including baseline development, resource estimation, system maintenance, earned-value reporting and analysis, and baseline change control.
* Advanced Excel skills are required.
* Experience working with engineering contractor is desirable.
* Downstream oil and gas experience is desirable.
Responsibilities:
* Provide cost management services on a program consisting of numerous medium sized projects ($500K to $5MM) being executed concurrently.
* The scope of services covers the duration of each project’s development life cycle (Inception through closeout).
* Specific services include but are not limited to:
* Work with project team members to define, estimate, and plan company contribution to an individual project’s scope.
* Create budget baseline execution plans.
* Maintain a change management program that includes estimating, documenting, and tracking the approval status for changes relative to budget
* Report individual projects progress and performance relative to budget and plan.
* Identify, analyze, and document budget and plan variances.
* Report individual project commitments, expenditures, and forecasts, relative to the budget and plan.
* Maintain and administer proprietary database cost control systems
* Plan resource requirements for future phases of current projects as well as potential future work.
